A World Irrigation Facility Heritage Site is an irrigation facility with historical, technical, and social value that has over 100 years passed since construction, contributed to the development of irrigation agriculture, and was constructed with excellent technology.
In Kikuchi, “Tsukiji Ide” was built by Kato Kiyomasa in 1615. Starting with Tsukiji Ide, the four irrigation canals of the “Haraide, Imamura Ide, and Hoei Tunnel” have been certified. We will guide you through beautiful wells that are still being used hundreds of years later, along with historical explanations.
A guide (guide) will guide up to 10 people in one trip. We may guide you with groups other than customers.
